Bank Robbery

Robbery

Locations: Scotiabank – 170 Colborne Street.

Incident: At approximately 2:30 p.m. on February 22, 2016 a lone male entered a downtown bank, approached the teller and asked for money from the till.

The teller complied and the male left. No weapon was seen, and no one was physically injured. The suspect is describes as a white man, unshaven wearing a black Nike hat, black Under Armour sweater and described as 5’6”. The suspect fled on foot.

Major Crime detectives and Forensic Detectives are still investigating. A video of the robbery has been seized and police are releasing a photograph of the male suspect.

Brantford Police are investigating an altercation that lead to a 66 year old male being stabbed in the arm. This occurred at 12:00 pm 21 February 2016 at Wayne Gretzky Pkwy at Henry St on the parking lot.

The 49 year old male suspect was arrested nearby.

The victim received medical treatment and was released from the BGH.

Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are continuing their investigation.
