Date: August 19, 2016

Location: Buffalo Street (0-100 Block)

Incident: Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on August 18, 2016 and 8:30 a.m. on August 19, 2016, a residence was entered on Buffalo Street through a basement window. At the time of the investigation, bathroom fixtures and copper pipe were reported stolen.

Date: August 18, 2016

Location: Winding Way (0-100 Block)

Incident: On August 19, 2016, Community Patrol Officers were contacted in regards to a robbery. It was reported that on August 18, 2016 at approximately 6:00 p.m. the two victims were at a park on Winding Way when they were approached by three men who were carrying metal bars. Two of the men were wearing bandannas over their faces in attempt to disguise their identities. The three men told the victims to get on the ground. One of the victims was struck on the leg with a metal bar. The men then stole the backpacks of the victims which contained various items, as well as their skateboards. The men then fled the park. Although the men attempted to disguise their identities, the victims were able to recognize them.

A 15 year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with Robbery x’s 2 and Fail to Comply with Youth Undertaking x’s 2.

A 14 year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with Robbery x’s 2 and Disguise with Intent.

Location: Colborne Street at King Street

Incident: On Sunday, August 21, 2016 at approximately 6:45 a.m. Community Patrol Officers were contacted in regards to a single vehicle collision on Colborne Street at King Street. The vehicle was found pressed up against a hydro pole, was still running, and in drive”. The driver was found to be sleeping. Police put the vehicle in park and turned it off which woke the driver.
