Incident: On Monday, June 20, 2016 at approximately 9:15 a.m. a man attended his parents’ residence and began arguing with his father. The father told the man to leave and the man picked up a metal BBQ spatula and jabbed it at his father, striking him on the chin. He then struck his father in the stomach. The father attempted to leave and the man told him that if he contacted the police, he would kill him. The father was able to leave the residence and contacted Community Patrol officers who investigated. On Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m. a neighbour contacted BPS to advise that the man had returned to the residence. Community Patrol Officers attended and arrested the man without incident. As a result, a 23 year-old Brantford man is charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Uttering Threats. He was held for a bail hearing.

Incident: Sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016 a grey GMC Jimmy was reported stolen from a driveway on Victoria Street.

Incident: Sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016, a grey Chevrolet Avalance was stolen from a parking lot on North Park Street.
