Type: Theft from Vehicle

Location: Catharine Avenue

Details: Sometime overnight on January 19, 2016 unknown person(s) drilled two small holes in the side of a pickup truck parked on Catharine Avenue. The thieves then emptied the gasoline from inside the gas tank. A large amount of gasoline was found spilled on the ground around the truck.

Type: Theft from Vehicle

Incident: 2367-16

Location: Viscount Road

Details: On Thursday January 21, 2016 at around 5:00 a.m. a home owner scared off two teenage boys who were observed breaking into vehicles. Two youths were walking up the street checking random parked vehicles. A small amount of change was reported stolen from the homeowner’s vehicle. The youths were described as being 15 years of age, one wearing a dark coat and the other a lite coloured coat.

The BPS requests citizens to report all crimes and suspicious activities which take place on your property. All thefts from your motor vehicles should be reported to the BPS regardless if items are stolen.
