Incident: On Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at approximately 12:20 a.m., a member of the Brantford Police Auto Theft unit observed a man enter a parking lot at an address on Fifth Avenue. This man was known to police to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. Through investigation it was also learned the vehicle he was operating had been reported stolen.
As a result, an 18 year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with numerous offenses, which included Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Break In Tools, and Possession of a Controlled substance. He was held for a bail hearing on August 17, 2016.

Location: Morrell Street (0-100 Block)
Incident: Sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. on August 16, 2016 a residence was entered on Morrell Street through a window. At the time of the investigation electronics and money were reported stolen.
