Incident # 16-38335

Date: October 12, 2016

Location: Park Road North (0-100 Block)

Incident: Sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, a sun porch was entered at a residence on Park Road North. At the time of the investigation a black GT Avalanche mountain bike was reported stolen.

Type: Domestic Dispute

Incident # 16-38381

Date: October 12, 2016

Incident: On Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., a man and a woman who are in a relationship, were at a business on West Street and engaged in a verbal argument. The two left the business and staff members observed the woman striking the man repeatedly in the head and neck area with both of her hands. Community Patrol Officers were contacted and located the woman a short distance away.

As a result, a 32 year-old Brantford woman was arrested and charged with Assault. She was held for a bail hearing.

Domestic assaults are criminal offences. Before life stressors escalate to the point of physical violence and threats, the Brantford Police Service encourages men and women who are experiencing difficulties, to take advantage of the services offered in the community.
