The Brantford Police Service thank everyone for assisting in finding a missing 38 year old female last seen leaving a shelter on May 3rd,and reported by staff as missing.
A police investigation learned about the female’s whereabouts, and she was located by another municipal police service within 45 minutes of a media release having been sent out.

Type: Arrest – Breach of Recog
Locations: Balfour Street
Incident: On Wednesday May 4th, 2016, around 7pm, Brantford police were called about an intoxicated male on Balfour Street.
Police investigation revealed that the 52 yr Brantford male was on court orders not to consume alcohol.
Further investigation revealed that the same male was on other conditions not to be near a Balfour residence. Police found him outside of the prohibited address.
As a result, the accused was charged with Breach of Recognizance Order

Locations: Colborne Street
Incident: On Thursday, May 5, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m. police attended to a Colborne Street East motel after receiving a call regarding a male that was attempting to enter a room by kicking the front door. Police arrived and located the male responsible. The male was acting strangely and was subsequently arrested. During a search of the male police located 1.7 grams of crystal meth. It was also learned that the male was bound by a current Probation Order.
As a result the 25 yr old Brantford male was charged with Possession of Schedule I, crystal meth contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.
