(KINCARDINE, ON) – On August 20, 2014 at 1:01 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 3 traffic complaints regarding a White Ford F150 on Bruce Avenue in Kincardine. Officers located the truck going south bound on Lake Range Drive in Huron Township, but the driver failed to stop for police. The truck stopped in the area of Tout’s Grove where the driver fled into a woodlot on foot.
Officers continued to investigate and an arrest was made on August 27, 2014. 21 year old Brandon TWOLAN of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with Flight from police, Race a motor vehicle, Fail to report accident and Fail to remain. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 29, 2014 to answer to the charges.
