(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday August 23, 2012, Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to the Liquor Control Board Ontario (LCBO) retail outlet on Main St. West in Listowel, where a bottle of liquor had been stolen.
Investigation revealed that a male entered the LCBO outlet and removed a bottle of liquor from the shelves at the back of the store. As the male proceeded to leave he was confronted by the store clerk, the male did not heed the clerks warnings and left with the stolen bottle.
Officers determined the identity of the male who was subsequently arrested. Brandon HALL (18), a Stratford resident, has been charged with “Theft under, shopliftingâ€Â, and “Failure to comply with sentence or dispositionâ€Â. He was released on a “promise to appear†and will be attending Listowel Court on September 26, 2012 to answer to these charges.
