(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday January 25, 2011, shortly before 10:30 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer was stopped at the traffic lights on Ontario Rd. in Mitchell when a pickup truck in front did a brake stand.
(A brake stand involves holding down the brake and pressing the accelerator at the same time).
The officer pulled over the truck and served the driver a summons to appear in Stratford Court to answer to the charge of Stunt Driving. The 19 year old male driver from the Municipality of West Perth also had his drivers licence seized for 7 days and his truck was towed and will be impounded for a week.
