A Wingham man is in custody and a Gorrie man sought by police following the theft of a motor vehicle on Josephine St in Wingham yesterday (November 3rd.) At 10:15 a grey 2007 Pontiac Torrent was taken from Josephine St by two men wearing camouflage clothing. Police checked with several business video surveillance systems and were able to identify two suspects. The vehicle was discovered burnt out North of Wingham and the suspects were seen by a passerby walking South back into Wingham. At 2:45 the suspects were observed by police exiting a restaurant and they fled on foot through downtown in the area of the Cenotaph. Following the foot chase, Sandy Dustin Baker of Wingham was arrested. The second man Bradley Huisser of Gorrie is still at large. Both men face several charges including theft over $5,000 and Fraud. Police would like to thank the citizens of Wingham who assisted in this investigation. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bradley Huisser are asked to contact the Wingham Police, the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
