(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday May 02, 2013, shortly after 3:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Mitchell were dispatched to an address on Nelson St. where the homeowner observed someone in the home’s garage.
Officers attended the residence and arrested an adult male at the scene. A second adult male ran from the residence and was later located a short distance away by the OPP West Region canine unit. The male was hiding in some brush on William St.
Bradley BEIERLING (26) and Kraig MINZEN (19) both residents of Parkhill have been charged with the following offences, break, enter a place with intent to commit indictable offence, possession of break in instruments and trespass / prowl near dwelling house. Both men remain in custody and will appear in Stratford Bail Court on Friday 03 May 2013.
The Perth County OPP while continuing their investigation into this matter, located property which appeared to have been stolen from other residence(s) in the area of Nelson and William St. Anyone having discovered their residence, garage or outbuildings entered and who have not yet reported the incidents are requested to contact the Perth County OPP immediately..
