Bomb Squad Deployed To Station Beach Kincardine Near Tiny Tot Park

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On August 14, 2016 at approximately 11:44 a.m., South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a found spent military flare on Station Beach near the Tiny Tot Park on Lambton Street in Kincardine.

Police secured the area until such time as members of Base Borden’s Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) attended and removed the flare; a metal cylinder approximately 14” in length and 3” in diameter.

There were no injuries.
