Location: COURTLAND AVE E and OVERLAND DR, KITCHENER ON Canada
On November 6th, 2016 at approximately 10 a.m. two Kitchener residents were out for a walk in the Courtland Avenue and Overland Drive area of Kitchener. They observed what appeared to be a body in Schneiders Creek near this intersection. Emergency Services responded and confirmed a body was present in the creek. An area was cordoned off until the body was recovered with the assistance of Kitchener Fire Department. A local male has been identified and the death has not been deemed suspicious. The investigation will continue with a Post Mortem examination to be conducted at Hamilton Health Science Centre tomorrow. Further details will be provided when available.
