Black Market Store Shut Down In London – Sawed Off Shotgun Seized

On Thursday, November 27, 2015, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit, members of the Guns and Drugs Section (consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant and a Criminal Code search warrant at a Brydges Street residence.

Seized were the following items:

– Remington sawed-off pump-action shotgun;

– 21 rounds of 12-gauge shotgun shells;

– $2,573 Canadian currency;

– 302 grams of marihuana bud – $3,020;

– 14.1 grams of cannabis resin (shatter”) – $840;

– 31 (8mg) Dilaudid pills – $465;

– 3 (30mg) Hyrdromorphone capsules – $180;

– 4 (18mg) Hydromorphone capsules – $120;

– 2 (6mg) Hydromorphone capsules – $48;

– 12 (10mg) Methylphenidate (Ritalin) pills – $565; and

– 101 (20mg) Ritalin pills – $505.
