Neil Vincent believes that Councillors have different rights than regular citizens. Bryan Allen disagreed with him on that point on his talk show on am920 the other day. Vincent is right, he was elected to be our Mayor, he therefore is the Wisest among us. If anything, he should be given more power. Mr. Knott knows not the ways of proper procedure or civil decorum. It is well within the Rights And Powers of Mayor Vincent to demand that any questions of council to be put in writing, and must be received 4 weeks in advance.
Knott’s insolence has ground our once productive and vibrant council to a halt. If he does not cease and desist, he should be billed for the incredible amount of time council has spent answering his petty and pointless questions.
Our Deputy Mayor was correct in using his power to try and bring Bill Knott under control. Mr. Knott clearly has no respect for Council, and deserves zero respect in return. Deputy Mayor David Raich should start calling some of Bill Knott’s potential customers next. Maybe then Mr. Knott will know his place” and pay the appropriate respect to those on Council.
