Bikejacking In Kitchener

On Sunday, June 19th, 2016, at approximately 10:00 p.m., an unknown male suspect confronted a lone victim riding their bicycle on a trail near the area of Krug Street and Becker Street, in Kitchener. The suspect pulled out a small pocket knife and ordered the victim to surrender his bicycle. The victim complied and the suspect left the area while riding the bicycle heading east bound on Krug St towards Becker St. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall with a thin build, 23-25 years old, wearing a long sleeve black hoody, long pants. The bicycle is described as a men’s speed bike grey with purple lettering, the make is Tundra, and the model is Seragheti. It is in poor condition with non-functioning front brakes.
