Bicycle Stolen From Back Patio

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday evening August 18, 2014, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a Barber Ave. North residence in Listowel, where a $1,000 bicycle was stolen from a rear patio.

Police investigation revealed that the victim placed his bike on the rear patio of the residence at 9 p.m. on Monday August 18th. When he returned 40 minutes later the bike was gone.

The bicycle is described as being black in colour, men’s adult 18 speed HUTCH THRUST Mountain bike (dirt jumper style). “Hutch” is written in white letters on the lower cross bar. A bell is located on the handle bars, it is described as a having a chrome top with a grey plastic bottom.

Anyone who may have seen someone on this bicycle on Monday evening or who knows where the bike can be located, is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000
