Benoit Joseph Gregoire – Multiple Child Porn Charges

(OTTAWA, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit, Ottawa Detachment, Ottawa Police Service and the RCMP National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre have charged an Ottawa man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

On October 10th, 2012, Police executed a search warrant at an Ottawa residence. As a result of this investigation, five computers and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

Benoit Joseph GREGOIRE, aged 29 years, of Ottawa, Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Make Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The charged male will appear for a bail hearing in Ottawa, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice on October 11th, 2012.
