Robbery – Arrest
On Thursday October 18, 2012 at 12:10 p.m., a male entered a store on Silvercreek Parkway North, Guelph, approached a 66-year-old Guelph female, and grabbed her purse. A short struggle ensued; the victim was knocked to the floor, and the suspect fled the store.
Police were called, and the suspect was arrested a short distance away.
The victim retained her purse and did not receive any injuries.
Benjamin ROBERTS 29 years of Guelph was charged with Robbery with Intent and Breach Probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
