(CULROSS TWP, ON) – On February 5th, 2011 at 2:36 am, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along County Road 4 in Culross Township observed a weaving vehicle that was crossing the centre line. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. While processing the driver, the officer located a quantity of illegal drugs in the vehicle.
22 year old Benjamin KUPFERSCHMIDT of Mildmay has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams, Drive while disqualified and Possess controlled substance. The passenger, 22 year old George LANTZ of Mildmay, has been charged with Possess controlled substance and Consuming liquor out of residence. Both men are scheduled to appear in Court on March 14th, 2011 to answer to the charges.
