(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday March 02, 2012 shortly before 5 a.m. Perth County OPP officers stopped a Chevrolet pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 23 and Line 24. The odour of an alcoholic beverage was detected on the breath of the driver.
A roadside breath test was administered which the driver failed. He also failed two subsequent Intoxilyzer breath tests at the Perth County OPP detachment in Sebringville. The driver, Benjamin Hymers (27) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood”. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on April 02
