(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) At approximately 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday July 05, 2011 an impatient driver passed a vehicle on Perth Line 44 west of Gads Hill. The driver was however unaware that the GMC Tahoe he passed was a marked OPP vehicle driving the posted speed limit.
The OPP officer pulled over the offending BMW driver and while speaking to him observed that the male passenger in the car had liquor in an open container. The 69 year old male passenger from Guelph was charged under the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario, while the driver was warned for speeding.
