(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron OPP is investigating the theft of two 500 foot strands of copper wire stolen from a gravel pit located on Halls Hill Line. The wire weighs several hundred pounds and is valued at an estimated $4000. This theft took place sometime between October 19, 2012 and October 22, 2012. Also stolen was a black 24 volt CarQuest battery pack valued at $500.
