Male born in 1969 driving vehicle through McDonalds drive-thru on Dunlop Street.
Was observed by staff striking another vehicle and left scene.
Vehicle was located a short distance away. Male failed a roadside alcohol test and arrested.
Taken to Barrie Police station and refused to provide a breath sample. A quantity of cocaine and cash was located on his person.
Male charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Impaired Care and Control of a motor vehicle and refusal.
Male was released on a Promise to Appear with future court date.
Occurrence Type: Seeking Witnesses to Dog Bite

Date: Saturday, September 10, 2016 – 4:20pm
On Saturday, September 10, just after 4:00 p.m., an 8-year-old Barrie boy was bitten while playing at Cudia Park, located at 247 Dodson Road, in the City of Barrie.
The victim had been playing on the swing set when an unleashed dog lunged up and bit him. He received a puncture wound to his left buttocks, thigh area and several scratches to his left ear. The victim was treated at a near-by clinic and later released.
Police are attempting to locate the owner of the dog to confirm the dog’s health. The Barrie SPCA was notified of the incident, and advised police there have been no recent cases of rabies reported in the City of Barrie.
The dog is described as;
Black and White in colour
Approximately 50lbs.
Believed to have the name “Phoebi”
