On December 25th, 2015 Barrie Police received information that the back window of a Tim Horton’s located on Barrie View Drive had been smashed. The location was closed for the Holiday and the lights were on inside of the store. Barrie Police attended and reviewed video footage of a suspect breaking and entering at approximately 1:51am on Christmas Day. The investigation is currently on-going and it is unknown at this time if anything was taken.

Date: Saturday, December 26, 2015 – 9:10pm

On December 25th, a 26 year old Barrie man entered an apartment on Clapperton Street and started an altercation with the residents. The male then ripped the phone off the wall and fled the residence when the complainant tried to call the police. The male was on conditions not to attend the address or to associate with the residents and therefore a warrant was sought for his arrest.

On the evening of December 26th, the male returned to the address and was arrested by Barrie Police on scene. The male was charged with breach of probation x2, mischief, unlawfully in a dwelling and was held pending a bail hearing.
