On Saturday February 13, 2016, Shelburne Police arrested a 34 year old female Barrie resident wanted by Barrie Police on an outstanding Warrant for Contempt of Court. Shortly afterwards the females 38 year old husband was also arrested by Shelburne Police on several outstanding warrants with Barrie Police for Fraud and theft charges as well as failing to appear in Court.

Barrie Police subsequently executed the warrants and returned the two parties to the Barrie Police Station where the female released with a future court date and the male was held pending a Bail Hearing.

Date: Friday, February 12, 2016 – 7:30pm

On Friday February 12, 2016, Barrie Police were contacted by the Ontario Provincial R.O.P.E Squad in relation to a 28 year old male Barrie Resident wanted by the Barrie Police on an outstanding warrant for Criminal Harassment and 3 counts of Threatening death.

As a result of the information, Barrie Police attended Pearson International Airport, Terminal 3 and arrested the male on the outstanding Warrant. The male was subsequently returned to the Barrie Police Station where he was held pending a Bail Hearing.

Date: Monday, February 15, 2016 – 12:00pm

On Monday February 15th 2106 at approximately 12:00pm Police attended a residence in response to a Domestic altercation. Information received was that accused had assaulted his wife and has left the residence on foot. Police searched the area and were able to locate the accused. The accused was arrested for several Domestic related offences and taken to the Barrie Police Station where he was held pending a Bail Hearing.
