Barrie Police Service was called to the area of Ferndale Drive South and Essa Road, in the City of Barrie, after a resident reported seeing a suspicious male in the backyard.
On Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at 3:00pm police attended an address on Cityview Circle after a male was spotted in the backyard of a residence. The witness saw the male hop the fence but believed he was still in the area when police arrived. Uniform officers and tactical support officers used a variety of investigative equipment as well as a track with Handler Abofs and K9 Serge was completed but nothing further was found. The house the male was spotted lurking around was not entered and nothing was missing or damaged in the yard.
