Occurrence Type: Seeking Witnesses To Vessel Collision

The Barrie Police Traffic Services is investigating a collision that occurred just after 9:00 p.m., on Kempenfelt Bay on Saturday, September 5th, 2015.
Police arrived just after 9:30 p.m., and were advised that one vessel had failed to remain at the scene.
As a result of the collision two people received non-life threatening injures and were transported to RVRHC.
Police have identified several witnesses who are providing more information as the investigation continues.

Occurrence Type: Motor Vehicle Collision

On Sunday, September 13 2015, shortly after 11:00 a.m., police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Hart Drive, City of Barrie.
The driver had lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll over. Witnesses to the collision stopped and assisted pulling the driver from the vehicle.
The Barrie Police Service Traffic Unit arrived on scene, and after further investigation it was determined the driver had not adjusted his driving too meet the needs of the wet road conditions.
The 22-year-old, Barrie male was charged with careless driving.
Occurrence Type: Break and Enter

Date: Monday, September 14, 2015 – 11:50am
On Monday, September 14, 2015, police received a call just before midnight advising of a break and enter in progress. The complainant, a resident in the area, indicated they had heard glass breaking and could see people inside the building with flashlights.
Police quickly arrived to the building on Victoria Street, Barrie. As luck would have it, two suspects were located running from the premise.
A 25-year-old female and 19-year-old male, from Barrie, were arrested and charged with break and enter and theft. The male is currently on probation and therefore charged with breach of probation.
Both parties were later released on a promise to appear with conditions and will be appearing in a Barrie Court in October.
