On Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 6:40pm Police were called to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Mapleview Drive for a male who appeared to be disorientated and missing some personal belongings.
Once on scene, Police located a very intoxicated 22-year-old male who was not wearing a shirt or shoes. The male could not assist Police is finding a safe place for him to go, with even his Mom saying she could not care for him when he was intoxicated, so he spent some time at the Barrie Police Service until sober enough to care for himself and return home.

On Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 12:45pm Police were called to Canadian Tire on Bayfield Street in regards to a shoplifter. The accused male ran from lost prevention officers but once Police arrived the very exhausted male surrendered admitting to the theft.
A 40-year-old Orillia man was charged with theft over $5000 and breaching his current probation order for a previous conviction of assault.
