Police have completed their investigation and have a charged the driver, a 21-year-old male from Richmond Hill with careless driving.
The investigation determined the collision occurred as a result of the driver falling asleep and losing control of the vehicle.
Barrie Police responded to a collision on Georgian Drive just after 7:00 a.m. this morning. A black 4-door Escalade was travelling north bound on Georgian Drive, left the roadway and continued down an embankment and struck several unoccupied vehicles outside of a residence.
The passenger of the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
At this time police believe the collision may have been a result of the driver having a medical condition. The investigation is continuing.
