Police were called to the downtown area on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m., for a male who had been highly intoxicated.
Upon arresting the male for public intoxication he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of Marijuana. The male was arrested and charged and transported to the station and held until sober. He will appear in a Barrie Court in late December.Occurrence Type: Prowl By Night

Barrie Police Service received frantic calls from some Barrie residents shortly after 5:00am on Friday, December 4, 2015 after they found an unknown male laying on the floor of their house.
The male had entered the house on Collier Street, in the City of Barrie, for an unknown reason and was located by the residents who called Police immediately while keeping the male on scene. Barrie Police arrived in less than three minutes and the 37 year old Barrie man was arrested for Prowl By Night.
The male was later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date to answer to the charge.
