Barrie Police responded to a break in to a garage at a Chippawa Ct residence early Christmas Eve day. Homeowners reported their car parked in the driveway had been entered during the night. Suspects used the garage door opener from the vehicle to access the garage. 2 Mountain bikes were stolen. Officers followed up from another occurrence in the area the same night and located a 40 year old male and 38 year old female at a Blake Street address. The bikes and a quantity of property stolen from other cars in the area was recovered. The suspects are accused of Break and Enter, 3 counts of Possession of stolen property and 2 counts of trespass at night. They were held for a bail hearing.
