A 34-year-old Barrie woman was arrested downtown Barrie just before midnight by the CERT unit on Wednesday, April 14, 2016. The woman had been wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for court on Tuesday April 15, 2016.
She was transported to the Barrie Police Station and held in custody, and will appear in bail court Thursday morning.

A 41-year-old male of no fixed address was arrested Wednesday night just before 11:30 p.m. downtown Barrie.
The male had been acting suspicious and attempting to elude any conversation with police. Further investigation revealed the male had been wanted on an outstanding warrant with Peel Regional Police for possession of a controlled substance and failing to attend court.
He was transported by Barrie Police and transferred into the custody of Peel Regional Police . He will appear in a Brampton bail court Thursday morning.
