Barrie Police arrested a 38yr old Barrie man for impaired driving Tuesday night when an officer observed him operating his classic car southbound on the 400 at an abnormally slow rate of speed almost causing a collision. After investigating the driver, Police determined that the driver was impaired from consuming alcohol and arrested. It was determined that the drivers blood alcohol levels were twice the legal limit. The arrested male has a court date in May and the vehicle was impounded for 7 Days.

A 34yr old man was arrested by Barrie police for mischief after kicking in the front door at a house party, minutes after he had been asked to leave. After returning, the male began to argue with the host, who called 911. The intoxicated man was charged with damaging the door, held in custody and released when sober.
