On September 20, 2016 at 8:15 p.m. a fight broke out between two friends that are known to each other, on Heiman Street in Kitchener. One of the males, received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Marys Hospital for treatment. He was later released. The other male, a 42 year old from Kitchener, barricaded himself inside his apartment. The male was eventually arrested and faces charges of assault causing bodily harm and held for a bail hearing.
