On April 5, 2016 at 11:23 a.m., the Guelph Police were called to the Clair Road area after receiving a complaint about a possible impaired driver. Police located the car and driver within minutes on Wilkie Crescent. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
Gary Barei, 59 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on April 19, 2016.
