(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a bank robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
On December 22, 2014, at approximately 2:15 pm, a lone male entered a bank situated along the 700 block of Bank Street in the Glebe area. The suspect produced a silver handgun and made a demand for money. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed quantity of cash, last seen south along Bank Street. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 25 years old, approximately 6’2(188 cm)
