The Guelph Police Traffic Unit has released that during the first 10 days of their “2012 Back to
School Blitzâ€Â, they conducted targeted speed enforcement initiatives within elementary school
zones at 19 schools, and 41 tickets were issued for speeding. The blitz was primarily conducted
during the mornings.
The Guelph Police Service wishes to remind all motorists that we will be conducting regular
school zone blitzes throughout the entire school year.
