Automatic Aid Fire Agreement Formalized

The Councils of the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry and the Township of North Huron and the Municipality of South Bruce, have jointly formalized an ‘Automatic Aid fire agreement’

The Council members recognize the importance for the Municipalities to work together to provide a stronger fire service, that will protect the residents and property in the area.

Terms of the agreement are:

1. The South Bruce Fire Department will work with the Fire Department North Huron to provide Automatic Aid Fire Suppression service to the north end of Morris-Turnberry

2. The agreement will provide faster response time for structure fires in the northern end of Morris-Turnberry.

Important Fact: This agreement will benefit the north end of the Turnberry area and creates another step towards fulfilling the goal of working together , which will benefit the residents of the area.
