The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to remind all ATV riders that there are currently no municipal roads in our community that have a designation for ATV use.
In Chatham-Kent, ATV’s shall only be operated on your own private property or where you have permission from the landowner. Previous exemptions for farmers, public utility workers and trappers have not changed.
For safety purposes, only operate ATV’s were legally allowed, wear appropriate riding gear and drive sober.
