(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Saturday, July 25, 2015 at approximately 12:37 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a resident on the Artemesia-Southgate Townline in the Municipality of Grey Highlands reporting a theft, in progress, of his All Terrain Vehicle (ATV).
The victim observed three unknown males exit his garage operating his 2012 Polaris S5H ATV. The victim followed the suspects in his pick-up truck to the intersection of Gray St. and Proton St. in Dundalk, where he had the opportunity to confront them. One of the suspects fled the scene but turned himself into police at a later date.
20-year old Craig VANALSTINE, of South Bruce, was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
A 17 year old youth from the Township of Chatsworth, and a 16 year old youth from the Township of Southgate, have each been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. They are scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.
