Attempted Carjacking On King Street

On Monday December 22nd, 2014 at approximately 7:00 pm, a 28 year old male was assaulted during a robbery attempt as he was exiting the passenger side of a vehicle on King Street E in the City of Kitchener. The male suspect demanded the vehicle keys from the victim’s girlfriend. The police were called and the male suspect fled the scene. The victim did not suffer any injuries as a result of the attempted robbery and no property was obtained.

The male is described as white, 35-37 yrs of age, average build, light brown hair short with slight facial hair. He was wearing a black toque, black jacket with a light grey triangle pattern on both sleeves. Police are requesting the public’s assistance with any information that may assist with the investigation.
