(HARRISTON, ON) – On November 14, 2012 at 12:38am County of Wellington OPP officers conducted a traffic stop with a 2003 Dodge Caravan that had attempted to evade a RIDE check at Elora and Union Street in the Town of Harriston. Investigation revealed that as a result of a previous domestic occurrence, the male driver was bound by a Probation Order to have no contact with the 29 year old female passenger.
As a result, a 28 year old South Bruce male has been charged with Breach of Probation Order, contrary to the Criminal Code. He was released on a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on December 18, 2012 to answer to the charge.
