(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit has laid charges in connection to the December 18, 2014 home invasion on Durham Private.
On December 19, 2014, patrol officers acted on a call placed to the Ottawa Police with respect to this investigation. The suspect was arrested without incident as a result.
A male, age 59 of Ottawa, has been charged with the following offences:
Attempt murder
Robbery with violence
Forcible Confinement
Break and enter
Use a credit card obtained by crime (two counts)
He will appear in court on December 20, 2014.
The name of the person charged is being withheld in order to protect important next steps in the investigation. The Robbery Unit would still encourage anyone with information to contact them.
