(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received several reports of vehicles that were entered overnight this past week in Exeter.
At least 15 motor vehicles were entered and rummaged through during the early morning hours of April 7, 2018. The thieves entered these unlocked vehicles and stole GPS systems, gift cards, loose change and keys.
Some of the streets that were targeted were: Motz Boulevard, Rivers Boulevard, Darling Boulevard, Sanders Street, King’s Court and Waterloo Street.
This incident should serve as another reminder to residents to lock their vehicles and to keep valuables out of plain view.
Thefts from vehicles are often crimes of opportunity and highly preventable. Please do your part to help prevent this type of crime.
