(PERTH SOUTH, ON) On September 22, 2011 the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted Stratford Police Service in an attempt murder investigation that took place in Stratford. The Stratford Police Service requested assistance with a wanted male that had entered into Perth County. The OPP assisted in the successful apprehension of the male.
At 7:00 p.m. a 26 year old male of Chatham- Kent peacefully surrendered to the OPP. He was then turned over to the Stratford Police Service.
The OPP closed Queen Street West in St Marys to conduct the investigation and ensure the safety of the public.
