Barrie Police responded to a 911 call early on the 6th of May after a woman called reporting she had been stabbed. Police attended the north end apartment building and learned that two women at a party had become involved in an argument which resulted in both of them being stabbed. Both required medical attention. The investigation is continuing with charges pending against a 28yr old Barrie woman.

A 55yr old Barrie man was arrested and charged with uttering a forged document after attending a downtown pharmacy with a suspicious prescription. The pharmacist, suspecting that the male had altered the script, contacted his doctor and confirmed that was the case. The male was charged with uttering a forged document and has a court date in June.
