(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On March 11, 2017, at approximately 2:00 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for an assault in progress at the Macs Convenience Store in Harriston, Town of Minto.
An officer arrived on scene and observed a male assaulting the male victim. The officer was able to subdue the man and bring him under control for an arrest.
57-year-old Joseph SADLER of Harriston has been charged with Assault and Utter Threats to Cause Death/Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear April 28, 2017 in Guelph Criminal Court to answer to the charges.
