In the early morning hours of January 4, 2013 a 41 year old male was assaulted by multiple assailants while visiting at 48 Weber St W, Kitchener. The victim was transported to Grand River Hospital with serious injuries and remains there for treatment. A 53 year old Kitchener male has been arrested for his involvement in this assault and is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous and CDSA possession. On Sunday, January 5, 2014, police arrested a 32 year old Kitchener female in connection with this incident. She has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and held for a bail hearing. The victim remains in the hospital for treatment of multiple stab wounds.
